| CEMETERY RULES AND REGULATIONS |
| If your memorial will be placed in a cemetery, it is important to know the rules and regulations of that cemetery. Rules and regulations may restrict the material, style, and size of the monument. Knowing the rules will ensure the monument you choose is allowed in the cemetery. |
| There are several questions to ask the cemetery regarding rules and regulation. Have this list ready when you contact the cemetery. |
| |
- What is the cemetery's physical address?
- Does the cemetery have delivery restrictions? (We will need to deliver to a business address if a cemetery cannot recieve the memorial in order to qualify for free shipping.)
- Are there restrictions on the material or style of monument that can be place in the cemetery?
- Are there restrictions on the size of monument?
- If a companion (2 person) memorial is chosen, is the husband’s name on the left or right side of the memorial when standing at the foot of the grave?
- Does the memorial need to be placed at the head or foot of the grave?
- Is there a permit or authorization form required before the monument is delivered?
- Are there any fees to be paid for the delivery or installation of the marker. (All fees must be paid before we attempt to deliver the memorial.)

| Know Your Rights: As a consumer, it is your right to purchase a memorial from anyone you choose. It is against federal law for a cemetery to refuse to accept a monument from an outside dealer. A cemetery may also attempt to charge higher fees for accepting a monument from an outside dealer. If you find you are being denied your rights or are being charged a higher rate for choosing to use an outside dealer, please follow this link to the Federal Trade Commission to file a complaint. You may also contact your local Better Business Bureau. Please visit our Cemetery Rules and Restrictions page for more details. |
