Granite & Marble Statues
At www.buymemorials.com, we offer several different types of granite and marble statues. Our economy line of vases are made from bonded Carrara marble. The marble is ground into a powder and then mixed with a resin or glue and poured into a mold. The molds are replicas of handcrafted marble statues made from classic Italian sculptors. Because of the unique fabrication process the price is significantly lower than an actual hand carved marble statue and yet you still enjoy the look and quality of fine Carrara marble. Some statues have different sizes of molds, so there may be more than one size available for any given statue.
We also offer hand carved Carrara marble statues. Since they are hand carved, you may request the size to be made. While we have pictures of many different examples, you are also welcome to submit drawings or photos for our sculptors to make a custom statue. Upon request we can have a clay model made first for your approval prior to carving the marble so you can see what it will look like and make any changes necessary. Photos of the clay model can be emailed to you for your review.
We also offer hand carved Granite Statues from China. Because granite is harder than marble, they are stronger and less prone to deterioration than marble. For this reason they are great for outdoor use in cemetery settings as well as gardens. As with the marble statues, they can be made in the size you request and can be based on a standard work, or something custom you wish to create.
